Carver Lake Park and Beach
This project began as a shoreline restoration project. It involved the removal of a deteriorating shoreline boardwalk. In its place, a new boardwalk was put that provided residents with a nature trail as well as a location for fishing from the trail without blocking the trail. These efforts helped to clean up the park and make it more visitor friendly and more fishing friendly.
This new boardwalk rests in the water rather than on the shore. The boardwalk follows the contour of the shore and does not disrupt the natural water flow or the shoreline. There is an addition of a 45- foot fishing pier that extends to water depths of 25 feet.
